Asphalt 8: Airborne Retry is a Free to Premium conversion mod that brings many fixes and improvements to the base game, ranging from balance changes to hidden content and new options.


This mod is based on version 1.6.0 of Asphalt 8: Airborne from Lenovo A7000. Version 1.6.0 features 79 cars, 12 tracks, and over 300 Career Mode events.

Note that some of the mentioned features of this mod were only officially added in later versions of the game.


THE PREMIUM EXPERIENCE FROM ASPHALT IS BACK!

• No ads or in-app purchases.

• It's not necessary to grind in Asphalt 8: Airborne Retry Career Mode in order to progress. You earn enough credits to advance just by playing.


A TRUE REMASTER 

• 60 FPS.

• Upgraded max graphics with high-quality car models and textures in-game.

• Fake speed has been removed: all cars now have the same speed modification coefficient, showing correct stats in the garage and in-game.

• Added the option to restart the race on the race results screen. You can also restart the race on the race results screen by pressing back.

• In-game cameras have been reworked based on the size of the cars.

• Ghost gamepad bug fixed: the game now correctly recognizes connected gamepads, allowing you to play on touchscreen when no gamepad is connected.

• Backup and restore your progress without root through the new start screen, created especially for Asphalt 8: Airborne Retry. Instructions are available through the HELP button on the start screen.

• It's now possible to customize graphics, disable knockdown camera, force gamepad recognition, and much more through the OPTIONS button on the start screen.

• MPC or OGG songs placed in /gameloft/games/GloftA8HP/music subdirectories will automatically be added to the game. Instructions are available through the HELP button on the start screen.

• Ultrawidescreen support.


CONTENT AVAILABILITY AND ECONOMY BALANCE CHANGES

• All the 79 cars present in this version are now available in the garage.

• Car, upgrade and booster prices have been completely rebalanced.

• All Premium cars are now purchasable using credits.

• All boosters are now purchasable using credits.

• Prices of boosters no longer increase when you earn stars or level up.

• Duration of boosters has been rebalanced.

• Career Mode rewards have been completely rebalanced for a seamless gameplay experience.


DIFFICULTY BALANCE CHANGES

• AI difficulty has been rebalanced for all game modes.

• Gate drift target scores have been rebalanced.


METAL SEASON IS HERE

• Metal Season is now available in Career Mode.

• 4 hidden events are now available in Metal Season.

• Metal Season events now give stars for completing them and count towards career progression.

• Metal Season rewards now work the same way as the rewards from other Career Mode seasons.

• Visual feedback in Metal Season reworked: it's now possible to see which events have already been completed with 5 stars.


QUICK RACE AND LOCAL MULTIPLAYER CHANGES

• Quick Race events now award credits upon completion. The reward increases based on your number of stars in Career Mode.

• All cars in the game are available to use from the start in Quick Race and Local Multiplayer.

• Quick Race gate drift events now have individual target scores for each car and track. More than 1000 combinations!

• San Diego Harbor is now available in Quick Race and Local Multiplayer.

• It's now possible to create a Local Multiplayer room using mobile data.


NEW PLAYER LEVEL SYSTEM

• Player Level reworked: each car purchased gives experience points. Buy cars to level up and unlock more cars and events.

• Visual feedback in Career Mode reworked: it's now possible to see which events are available to play based on car availability for purchase.

• Visual feedback in garage reworked: it's now possible to see which cars have been unlocked by leveling up through the car suggestions for purchase.


CARRER MODE CHANGES

• Backtracking events in Career Mode, such as the Ferrari LaFerrari exclusive event in Season 3, now give more credits for completing them.

• Dubai and San Diego Harbor events no longer give fewer credits than The Great Wall events in the same season.

• Citroën Survolt is now a C class car due to the Career Mode's first electric car event in Season 3 having a rank requirement far below the rank of this car, which could be purchased and used in Season 2.

• It's now possible to use the SRT 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 in Dodge events.

• Season and event star unlock requirements have been rebalanced.

• Rank requirement of some events has been rebalanced.

• Secondary star objectives of some events have been rebalanced.


OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

• Minor bug fixes.

• Minor interface changes.

• New icon with adaptive icon support, featuring the Ferrari 599XX.
